Michael is currently in the process of updating the old analogue CCTV system to a 3mp IP HD CCTV system as part of a capital investment to help reduce risk, and to observe the movement of stock within the building. The 1st phase is complete with additions over the forthcoming months.
The fire alarm is shortly due for a complete overhaul, with the replacement of all the detection equipment and control panels to a fully addressable system with Hochiki detectors, as the business has grown rapidly and better indication and detection is now required.
During the Easter break, Michael carried out the electrical repairs and updating of some of the light fittings to LED specifications that needed replacing. While working at the school, Michael installed additional emergency lighting.
Originally, the school was known as Shortlands House, which was the estate occupying a vast amount of land back in the day. It is now a well-regarded private catholic school.
Summer Holiday return to BC for us!
More remedial repairs, including an extension to the fire alarm for Chapel renovation, complete update of the junior block lighting to LED, what a difference to the old florescent lighting, crisp white light.
